Currently Health Economics & Outcomes Research consultant on Center for Evidence Based
Medicine (CEMBE), Faculdade de Medicina, Universidade de Lisboa (since September 2016).
Major work experience and publications are related to Health Technologies Assessment
projects and to Health Economics research, since 2006.
As a health economist, previous work was developed in the Research Centre on the
Portuguese Economy (CISEP, ISEG/UL). Lecturer experience on Economic Evaluation of Drugs
and Pharmacoeconomics post-graduation courses on ISEG and Faculdade de Farmácia (UL) was
also carried out from 2008 to 2012 and additional previous experiences were carried as
external consultant for National Authority of Medicines and Health Products, IP (Infarmed) and
as a reviewer for International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR
conferences and Value in Health).
